Well, well. After last night's 'pressure conference", nothing has changed. Obama is still coming out in front of cameras,he still has his TelePrompTer on a frequent flyer list and we are forced to watch DVDs to avoid the same old lies......Oh Happy Days!(sigh).
Don't let him wear you down. We are getting a bit ahead. Today it was announced by Reid and Pelosi that they will not bring up votes until after their,(frequent and long) holiday. This is not time to stop the harassment. They need to know that this whole Government takeover of our way of life, our economy, and our very well being has to cease!
Keep calling. Keep e-mailing. It is about time we got the upper hand and wore them down.
THEY MIGHT, NOW, HAVE TIME TO READ THE DAMN THING!
IT IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE EVIDENT THAT THIS ADMINISTRATION IS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR ECONOMY AND OUR SECURITY ONLY TO REPLACE IT WITH HIS "MODEL OF SOCIETY" (which has faILED EVERYWHERE IT HAS BEEN TRIED.......)

HEALTHSCARE LEGISLATION

HELLO CITIZENS! IT'S "CRISIS TIME"!!!!!!!
This time it is a crisis of healthcare; it seems we are all going to die, sometime and to do that properly we need government intervention or it just won't work.
Please allow me to tell you first hand of the Government run, Insurance approved healthcare.
My husband is a paraplegic. 4 years ago, he became gravely ill as a result of a pressure sore. He was hospitalized numerous times,and each immediate cure caused something else to run amok.This can happen, I understand, I get it, but after being bedridden for a year and a half, having his upper torso paralyzed by the side effects of an antibiotic, and more, He lost his ability to bend forward,which screwed up his ability to sit in his manual chair and remain upright.
After proving this to his doctor and the physical therapist, a request was made to medicare(Govn't run healthcare) and Humana (govn't regulated healthcare) for a power wheelchair.
I repeat, Bob is a paraplegic, has been for 28 years. After several weeks, we received a letter stating he was no longer eligible for a wheelchair. Hey, my first thought was "OK, Bob can now walk, but likes being waited on, sleeping in, and getting screwed out of going places because they are inaccessible."
My second thought was " This is a pencil-necked geek, that doesn't know diddly-squat about spinal chord injuries or any other medical condition telling Bob that he is well enough to walk".
After two appeals, numerous phone calls, and five months later, Bob got a used power chair.
There is more,but this is a tiny fraction of the grief that Government can cause and once the government subsidizes (in any way) anything, they basically own it,regulate it and screw it up!
Always keep in the back of your mind also, YOU CAN'T SUE THE GOVERNMENT-THE LAW SAYS SO.........THE CONSTITUTION SAYS SO............
THAT IS ONE GOOD REASON TO GET THEM(GOVERNMENT) OUT OF HEALTHCARE,COMMERCE, AND YOUR LIFE!

FINALLY,SOME COURAGE!

THIS MAY BE A RED LETTER DAY! REP. FLEMING, LA. AND 43 REPUBLICANS (ONES SHOWING SPINE) ARE TRYING TO INTRODUCE A BILL WHICH STATES IF YOU VOTE FOR THIS "GAWD-AWFUL HEALTHSCARE" YOU MUST ACCEPT IT TOO; NO EXEMPTIONS FOR CONGRESS OR THEIR STAFF.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IN NOVEMBER OF 2010 THAT NOT ONE DEMOCRAT WILL SIGN IT (AT THIS POINT).

WE WILL GET CAPITAL GAINS TAXES REMOVED
WE WILL GET A REVOCATION OF THE 16TH AMENDMENT
WE WILL GET A 10% COMMERCE TAX THAT CAN NOT BE RAISED WITH 2/3RD VOTE OF HOUSE AND SENATE.
WE WILL REMOVE ALL CZARS-AND THEY WILL NOT HAVE PUBLICLY FUNDED PENSIONS
WE WILL HAVE A LAW ENACTED THAT STATES WHATEVER PASSES AND IS SIGNED INTO LAW, THERE CAN BE NO EXEMPTIONS, SAVE ONE-THE MILITARY- BUT TO INCLUDE WASHINGTON HOUSE AND SENATE, PRESIDENT ALL STAFFS,ALL FEDERAL UNION EMPLOYEES.

The Tea-Parties were a start- they need to grow. The marches come next! I would hope there is a group willing to orgaqnaize-and advertise!

SOTOMAYOR

Well, I watched some of the hearings. I am now convinced that Judge Sotomayor is well rehearse and can memorize lines.
We are supposed to ignore a career lifetime worth of judgments and speeches and now believe she is a strict Constructionist.
I DON'T THINK SO.
My personal feeling, watching her remarks ,her hesitation in answering the rare questions that weren't "Gushing" over her,is the the term "Trojan Horse" is very applicable.
FRANKLY, I THINKS SHE IS LYING! Once confirmed, there is little recourse. She will continue with her social engineering,and we have no way to get her out!

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

Here we are. Stuck in a worm hole that is taking us to an alternate universe!
Now that the Dems are in full control and have held the reins for less than one year, we have gone from an economy that might well have weathered this cyclical downturn to a country that is no enslaved to China,unions, "Select" big business and the ever-increasing cadre of czars in Washington. There is talk of a "New World" order, money, and laws.
Although polls indicate that there is unrest brewing, Obama still remains popular, even though it is his "heavy hand" that has pushed these anti-Constitutional policies forward. His nomination of Sotomayor shows his disdain for the Constitution.
I will admit, if yesterdays opening statements to Congress were truthful and not just cleverly rehearsed, she may be just another Souter. However, if her statements were of the cleverly rehearsed kind(with this bunch, I suspect they were) then she is as big a prevaricator as Obama.
Unfortunately, the republicans have no stomach for a fight for the constitution, nor do they have the tenacity to correct the false presumption of racial and sexual bias. They(republicans) will continue to listen to the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the democrats and be more concerned with their reelection prospects and donation prospects than the integrity of the Supreme Court.
Sadly this nomination to the Supreme Court is not the only assault on our Constitution.. The monetary policies, national security policies, ILLEGAL immigration policies; the cronyism,extortion,pay-backs,etal
have possibly corrupted Washington DC permanently. The establishment of more Czars and committees means less power to Congress. The Senate as a deliberative Body, has become a high-school girls bathroom conversation, the press has become more than lap-dogs for Obama, they have become an emasculated bunch of groveling apologists for the entire administration. It is hardly worth reading the paper any more.
We are not sliding down a slippery slope, we have jumped head-long into the abyss. 2010 may be too late to undo the damage and I fear that the lessons will never be learned and the electorate will blindly vote for the biggest lie-yet again.
How Sad....What should be a constant celebration of Life Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness has become, protect my own,hide my wealth,and the pursiut of a place to "drop-out". It is a sad comentary on this administration.

Mc Cain represents everything the Tea-Parties are against-He would have slowed down the approach of Fascism, but not stopped it. He would miss Washington and the parties and perks-We didn't LIKE him- until he Killed the first amendment, we ignored him-he was Arizona's problem. Now he has become a boil on our butts.
You, Sarah, take a break, renew your family ties and energy, then screw the "Establishment". Continue to confound them-make them crazy-It will become a sport!
