FIRST AMENDMENT

CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION,OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF;OR ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, OR OF THE PRESS, OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE, AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.

Well this is number one and I assume, because it was number one is the most important to know. Let us review the current state of affairs and the degradation .....
-Muslims are allowed to pray and have special treatment in the name of religion in schools and businesses, but Christians can not pry in school, they can not "Thank God" nor mention his name in Christian celebrations, graduations etc..
-Nativity Scenes are bad in a public forum.
-Christians carols are banned from Christmas Concerts
-the TEN COMMANDMENTS are forbidden in schools and currently under attack in public forums
-Christian Holidays are continuously being "downgrade" to their original pagan names, while the debate is heavy whether to allow Muslims to celebrate and what accommodations should be made.
-The Supreme Court OKAY ED McCain Fiengold, a clear prohibition of political speech.
-Those who have openly opposed this administration have been investigated and their privacy invaded.
-More laws are created with every Congress Session to limit the "Assembly of people"
-Petitions are ignored and the originators are chastised and publicly demoralized more and more often.
-Political parties have lied and abased those that have crossed their paths-the mud-slinging continues, only to be proven wrong after the reputations and aspirations have been dashed.

-I fear with the appointment of Sodormayor, the "Supremes will be more inclined and tilted to the "World View" approach to our Constitution, yet there is NOTHING we can do about it.
-The press is ( with the exception of the Washington Times and Fox) more and more in the pocket(or have joined the church of) Obama. Airing a special on television,while denying opposing views,advertising etc., is a very telling exercise in propaganda. I believe the saying is "If you tell a lie often enough....."
-The press can no longer be relied on to be the fourth Estate". They no longer provide checks and balances for all of the above.

I have watched the "text-reports" coming out of Iran. I can not help but admire those that would give their lives for FREEDOM. We, at one time, had the courage to do the same. I do not know what the outcome in Iran, but I do know that the same scenario can happen here if the current crop of democrats have their way. They want to TAX ammunition out of existence to prevent gun ownership. Has anyone noticed that those in the streets are Unarmed? That is why we have the SECOND MOST IMPORTANT AMENDMENT..................
