STOCKING STUFFER OR JUST "TOE-JAM"

The USA has received her second stocking stiffer-er-stuffer early.
Thank you to Sen. Nelson for allowing this"gift" to go to the Conference Committee, where they will, no doubt, decorate it to the nines to present to the American People with much aplomb.
 We (the American People) will no doubt) be portrayed as happy and gleeful that this has come so far.
 The first of the "Stiffers-er-stuffers was the climate change agreement in Copenhagan.  Thank God, the world can now tax our breathing. This tax had eluded the "Greenies" up until now. Thank you for enriching Al Gore and his cronies at the expense of us all......Oh how we look forward to next year(sigh).
 I would call my broker early Monday Morning and get the hell out of the stock market; Between "Climate control" and "Healthcare", the Democrats and Greenies will have succeeded in ruining the American dream in one weekend.
 Although nothing has been enacted yet, they are well on the way and have also succeeded in ruining my mood for the season. It is hard to be charitable when the Governments of the entire world are reaching into your pockets to steal you hard-earned cash for their own enrichment.
 The corruption of our legislative process has becme treasonous. I for one, will not obey their corrupt rulings. I will go to jail and hope that there is one lawyer out there that has read and understood the Constitution and is willing to fight with me. I am not wealthy enough,not Washington connected enough to have my voice heard in Washington and those creeps are making less likely that I (or you) will ever be able to acheive that kind of wealth.
 It is sickening. My thoughts and dreams for a Happy New Year start with the November Elections.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE PRAY FOR A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR

 Although the words are forbidden in all the quarters that truly need to hear them, I will say them again,"MERRY CHRISTMAS"!
 I am sorry that I have been delinquent in my posts, but it has been a busy time and thoughts of this administration have been to dark to expose. I fear for our troops, I fear for our economy and most of all, I fear for our country and our freedom.
 I wonder when the lies will not only be fully exposed, but reported on as much as Tiger Woods.
 I wonder when Statesmen will again reign in Congress.
 I wonder when grown-ups will again be in the Whitehouse.
 I wonder when criminal behavior will have REAL consequences.
 I wonder when our Constitution will again be admired, understood and abided by.
 I wonder...........................

GOV. CRIST-OH REALLY?????

 I have a hard time keeping a straight face when I hear our(Florida's) well-tanned, suave Governor declaring how he has lowered taxes,cut government, blah,blah,blah.
 He is also saying that (today) he is against the stimulus package or is he for it...hard to tell, but if it is Friday, he must be for it.
 He may have cut taxes for some, but I wasn't one of them, nor were any of my friend's or family's
taxes cut. If he is counting the property taxes, that was a shell game . For all the lowered taxes,property values went up, countys raised their millage rates, market rates went down,but the schools taxed on the higher County value....it is a mess!
 Insurance rates are still going through the roof and the more Insurance companies that leave Florida, the less competition. We have our FABULOUS Citizens Insurance (Sounds rather USSR-ish doesn't it) who has been chafing at the bit to raise rates and our "PUBLIC" Service Commission has granted rate increases to everyone they are friendly to.
 We knew the moment Gov. Crist hugged Obama that we were in for a time. Everything that this Governor touts as an "Example of great Governance" has backfired -costs have increased,people are leaving the state in droves because it is becoming a playground for the rich and famous-to Hell with the rest of us.
 There are no jobs, (The countiess and the state have killed the golden goose with impact fees,permit fees,environmental hoops to jump through,code de jours, etc.) The education system is so bogged down with red tape and paperwork that the teachers don't have time to teach and when they do they are forced to teach a politically correct curriculum that has no meaning.
 We have a Governor and Legislature than would rather be beholden to Washington, that maintain a sovereign state by using her God-Given resources. We now have a state that would rather fund China with "Green Technology" than drill for oil and gas off her own coast. Encouraging "green Technology is a scam at best, and a vicious attack on our way of life .
 By the way, did you know our light bulb companies in the USA have closed and laid off employees and china is making these stupid, mercury laden light bulbs?
 Having been forced to buy these things for our fan-light  they last two only stood two weeks of their five year energy savings.....THEY ARE A CROCK! You can't see diddley with them, if you break them it takes a phone call to "Poison Control" to legally dispose of the mess and they last about 1/10th of the stated guarantee. Sorry I have wasted more gas and "Precious elements" getting replacements than ever before!
 I don't trust these guys, I have to be convinced they mean what they say and say what they mean.....I am not so sure with Crist.
 I THINK I'LL STICK WITH RUBIO........ I don't care what the news media says(I don't believe them any more either).
 I suspect that if Gov. Crist is elected to the Senate, his vote will go with Olympia Snowe and the rest of the Democrats. I honestly don't know, it is hard to tell whether he is telling the truth now or before.....

Is it just me, or is there a definate disconnect with the Republicans in Maine verses the Conservatives?
 Please don't be fooled with Ms. Snowe's attempt at "Bi-partisanship". She has unilaterally decided that there should be a trigger for a "Public Health Option".
Talk about the "Wolf in sheep's clothing". Who gets to decide? Obamas minions?
  You guessed it, The government will decide if premiums go to high or exclude to much or .......
Don't be deceived, they will have Government controlled health-care one way or another.
  While you are contemplating the consequences of the health-care-they are going to slam through cap and trade!

SENSIBLE LAW OUT OF VERMONT???

A friend from Maine sent me the following e-mail. It is amazing that this bill is originating in the only state with an avowed socialist for a Representative ( or is it Senator).
After this weekends vote out of the House of Representatives, it is becoming more and more clear that the Dems in charge are using their power to control ,not only 1 sixth of our economy, but every aspect of our lives. The current president has a history of wanting to ban guns from everyone except his admirers and all of his friends from the last 20 years are Marxists. Put these two things together and we are in deep trouble. Bills such as these should be proposed in every state! There are enough naive people out there that have no interest in guns or have been conditioned to just be afraid of them. It is the damage done to them because they are unarmed or unwilling to defend themselves or their property that is a great economic burden on the rest of us, therefore, why shouldn't they pay the astronomical amount of money required to arrest,try, and imprison the perps and care for their injuries.
It seems to me that this is a sensible way to make cowards pay for services rendered.


Finally .... A Sensible Gun Registration Plan That Will Work:

Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack has read the Second Amendment to the
U.S. Constitution, as well as Vermont 's own Constitution very
carefully, And his strict interpretation of these documents is popping
some eyeballs in New England and elsewhere.

Maslack recently proposed a bill to register "non-gun-owners" and
Require them to pay a $500 fee to the state. Thus Vermont would become
the First state to require a permit for the luxury of going about
unarmed and assess a fee of $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun

Maslack read the "militia" phrase of the Second Amendment as not only
affirming the right of the individual citizen to bear arms, but as a
clear mandate to do so. He believes that universal gun ownership was
advocated by the Framers of the Constitution as an antidote to a
"monopoly of force" by the government as well as criminals

Vermont 's constitution states explicitly that "the people have a right
to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the State" and those
persons who are "conscientiously scrupulous of bearing arms" shall be
required to "pay such equivalent." Clearly, says Maslack, Vermonters
have a constitutional obligation to arm themselves, so that they are
capable of responding to "any situation that may arise."

Under the bill, adults who choose not to own a firearm would be
Required to register their name, address, Social Security Number, and
driver's license number with the state. "There is a legitimate
government interest in knowing who is not prepared to defend the state
should they be asked to do so," Maslack says

Vermont already boasts a high rate of gun ownership along with the
Least restrictive laws of any state... It's currently the only state
that allows a citizen to carry a concealed firearm without a permit.
This combination of plenty of guns and few laws regulating them has
resulted in a crime rate that is the third lowest in the nation

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the
system, but too early to shoot the bastards."

This makes sense! There is no reason why gun owners should have to Pay
taxes to support police protection for people not wanting to own guns.
Let them contribute their fair share and pay their own way.

WHAT IS GOING ON?

SORRY! I know it has been awhile, but I truly have been angry and didn't really want to tKE IT ALL OUT ON YOU!
Well, no more keeping it in....There is something afoot. I can't put a finger on the exact cause of my trepidation. I guess, there are many causes.
First: The lack of attention paid to 80% of the population that wants Government OUT of our homes,our lives,our pocketbooks and our healthcare.
Second: What appears to be the deliberate devaluation of our dollar
Third: The lies, deceit and corruption of this administration
Fourth: The infiltration of radicalized Muslims into our armed forces
Fifth: The total lack of anger,compassion,concern for the victims of Fort Hood and other places around the world that have been attacked by these radical muslims.
Sixth: The escalation of anarchy in neighborhoods. Beatings, killings, covert planning of chaos by teenagers and young men and women

There is more but these are immediate concerns. The is has been a dumbing down of our education system,demonization of those that create jobs,wealth, and a standard of living to be envied throughout the world. The signals coming from Washington are mostly lies.
Things are a mess and the controlling party in Washington appears to be doing their best to make things worse.
When Obama preached Hope and Change- I am now assuming he meant he meant just the opposite- despair and "No change (left). He is going to push through cap & trade, health care and anything else that will leave this country a third world toilet so he can take over and control every aspect of our lives. It is a backdoor to legislation to remove guns from every home,control what you eat and where you buy it. The whole plan is insidious, but the Dems are all for it.....What is their perception of impending power, may ultimately be their demise., for I suspect that once this president has the power he wants-they will be enslaved-right along with the rest of us.......

I know there are Democrats out there that are as conservative as I am. I also know that there are Republicans that are as conservative as I am....... There are races going on that the Republican party is spit and so are the Democrats...
WHAT TO DO?????? Convince those that are voting the status-Quo to vote their conscience.
I understand that voting for the Republican/Democrat(in Florida's case-Crist) may save the Senate seat for a Republican, but at what cost.If we are voting in the lesser of two evils-we are still voting in evil.....Make sense?
What if we all rallied for the PERSON that has read our constitution , believes in her, stands for her and VOWS to uphold her?
The party moniker no longer means anything-does it?
What difference does it make if you vote for the democratic candidate in Maine that lives and breathes socialism, marxism, communism or any other "ism" or a republican that does the same....absolutely none-we are still screwed-either way.
It is time to start rationally convincing those that vote because of recognition, to instead, vote for a human that understands what a short term in Congress means. It should be a service to their country, not a feather in their own cap.
I am sick of the Susan Collins, Olympia Snowes, Charlie Crists, Arnold Scwhartzneggers claiming the REPUBLICAN PARTY as their own and proceeding to become democratic patsies at every turn. Pelosi , Reid and Obama have play these people like a fiddle.

I admit I wrote the following letter to Rep. Cantor. I am not sorry, nor am I ashamed. I am angry.
I am watching my country be systematically dismantled by a bunch of nonsensical elitists that want nothing more than eternal power and money.
They understand that the more they steal from us in the form of taxes, regulation, etc. the more they keep for themselves. The regulations they pass, the legislation they pass is for all of us, but not for them-they remain exempt.
I feel like the lone ranger, but I know I am not alone. This country is filled with hard working individuals that refuse to acknowledge the obstacles and press on. What happens if we all stop? Maybe it is about time we showed them.
Maybe we all ought to send a copy of ATLAS SHRUGGED to the white-house. Ayn Rand understood out rage,she lived through it......We should learn from her and find out own retreat. Dropping out feels like the right thing at this time.....

NO MIDDLE CLASS TAXES-EH?

It seems to me that (if you pay attention to the past) that every time fuel cost rise, our electric bill,our food costs,our energy costs and anything that requires shipping(everything we buy)all get higher as a result. Now equate that with this. Increase costs for healthcare on small business,large corporations,hospitals, doctors,Insurers,pharmacies etc......It will all "tricKle down"-yes-TRICKLE DOWN, to the consumer-that is YOU!
The sin taxes, already imposed, have already touched everyone in one way or another.
If yoiu think for one minute that these HEALTHCARE PUSHERS and CAP AND TRADE pushers have your best interests at heart-think again. It is all to line the pockets of Friends of Congress and Friends of the president. They are raping your wallets to enhance their own.
If we are a clever group(and I think we are) we would make sure that every one of the "Money-Grubbing, Power-Hungry creeps are thrown out of office and replaced with some sanity.
This scenario can not be allowed to continue or we will become a mirror image of the 1930's. I is already happening in California's
farm country under the auspices of saving a fish........BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID.

There appears to be a problem...Who Knew?
I am watching Glenn Beck and he has a guy on(I am cooking scallops-not really paying attention until...) The guy tells me he doesn't know why the "Mainstream " news isn't covering ACORN and the like: I DO (or at least suspect).
The mainstream News will not cover it in depth as long as the participants are beholden to ACORN and they are Democrats.
If one Republican is connected to ACORN in anyway (including having a relative 16 times removed) then they will not only cover it, they will jump in with both feet and it will be headline news for the duration of Obama's presidency.
The world is upside down. I listen to people, every day, that have no idea how to change or stop the tsunami that has hit this country. There is anarchy,"thugocracies,usurpation, etc. gong on in any place that dares hold a Town Hall meeting or something of the like, and there appears to be no end.
Government is working for its own end and has completely ignored the people.
Representatives and Senators are completely ignorant of our Constitution.
AND MORE.....WE ARE PISSED...........
The only way to combat these idiots is untoward DEFIANCE! What ever they pass-IGNORE IT! Whatever they say-Treat it as a lie.
The Justice system can only take so much, and if past history is any indication, the laws won't be enforced anyway. If by some chance they are enforced, you get free healthcare and three squares a day, plus activities!
The Congress is making us all crazy. The president is withholding the meds to help.
I wish i could be paid so well to scew up so much.

CONSTITUTION DAY

SEPT 17TH 222 YEARS AGO OUR CONSTITUTION WAS WRITTEN. IT IS A DOCUMENT THAT HAS PASSED THROUGH MANY A TOUGH TIME IN THE GOOD OLD USA.

IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 9 MONTHS SINCE WE ELECTED OBAMA, HE IS A PRESIDENT THAT HAS PROVEN THAT HISTORY DOES REPEAT ITSELF.
Under Jimmy Carter, our constitution was placed in a closet and forgotten, Now we are experiencing the same. You folks out there who did not exist during the Carter years, have no idea of what you are in for. We, who have been through the Carter years, and now the Obama years, understand.
Unfortunately, not only is our Constitution being hidden behind very heavy doors, it is being dissected and discarded bits are being washed down a drain, never to be be recovered.
I let my flag fly today to catch a breeze and be be proud, if only for a moment of the Constitution. Tonight, she comes down and will be folded in the proper manner and will be retired until another day celebrating our heros comes to pass.
When those that understand what is at stake prevail, the she will fly again with ardor-night and day,in fine condition and well lit.
Until then, she will rest and give herself time to contemplate the demise of the document she represents.

Those of us who are political and News junkies have known for a long time how corrupt the system is and how the polls,voter registration etc., have been.
We have watched with dismay , the race-bating, the manufactured emergencies, the basic CRAP coming out of this administration and others. The Democrats have circled the wagons and are trying to protect their primary donors and in the process calling all of us(black,white,hispanic etc....) racists if we speak out against anything they say or want to do.
Frankly, I am tired of being placed in a category...they don't know me-they don't care to know me-I don't have enough money or influence for their tastes.
A.C.O.R.N. has been their bread and butter for many years. They have been registering non-citizens,cartoon characters,some folks multiple times since the Clinton years(that I am aware of). All in the name of CHAOS. The more confusion, the more recounts, the more recounts, the greater the chance for "missing votes", "Found votes",etc. In other words, it gives the "powers that be" the time to manufacture their evidence and make sure their Guy gets in.
All of this HAS TO BE CORRECTED!
Again, I say thank you to Glenn Beck. He listened to a couple of amateur journalists with a cell-phone and has bravely exposed the basest of our society. It is up to Congress and a (probably as corrupt) Attorney General to investigate AC.O.R.N. from the bottom to the Top including their association with Congressmen and women and if it goes beyond that-so be it.I pray we can count on FOX news to provide an honest "back-up" investigation because I don't trust the existing administration,nor Congress to be thorough and honest.
So far, I don't believe that we (who speak out) are in peril, but I dare say that this country is. We are swiftly being taken over by a thugocracy that will not be easy to stop.
I don't know how to do it, but we have to turn out in numbers that can not be disputed on election day and vote every stinkin' one of the bums out that doesn't pass the "smell test". This goes for The house and the Senate....I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of it. BUT, I will not give them the satisfaction of resigning myself to their whims.....I will continue to speak out while I can and vote 'em out whenever I can.....

If i am wrong, there will be no demonization of the products that they want, only those they don't want ,to tax. If I am right, soda will become nothing less than a carcinogen, it will kill you, your children will die or become diabetic,or EVERYONE will die young from cancer.
The food police have been after us for years. Silly me, I eat bacon and eggs, make bread(and eat it),i eat dessert,etc.... all have been demonized at one time or another. First it's good, then it's bad,first it will cause cancer then it will prevent cancer. It is a game(I believe) of who gives the most donations).
If Government is providing your healthcare, they can tell you what is good for you and what is bad for you. Soda bad-tax it. Smoke-you are not eligible,eat more than 1000 calories a day, not eligible,too old,not eligible,wear heels,not eligible......They can tell you what to do and when to do it-cause they hold all the cards.
How sad, we have let it get this far.... Healthcare for High blood pressure would drop precipitously if these idiots would just leave us alone.......
Don't be fooled, people, they are not after FUll Coverage( high taxes discourage use-no pay in-no way to pay for), they are after CONTROL!

IT'S TUESDAY!

Well folks, it is Tuesday and due to the uproar(I suspect) the President has revamped his speech and removed the "add to curriculum" part.
We will probably never know what was in his original speech to the children, but I suspect that is not the point nor the cause of the uproar.
I suspect the problem is that from the beginning of his term as president, Obama has said one thing and done another. Black becomes white over night and all that is promised is forgotten. He seems to have a knack for telling one "fact" to one specific group, while explaining a contradictory statement to another group. This can occur in the same day or the same week. It makes no difference. The Point is.NO ONE TRUSTS him.
He has a royal collection of Marxists,Communists and downright America Haters in his Czarships (my word) and as friends. He has no problem declaring them friends to like-minded folks, but put him in front of someone with a different opinion, he has no problem throwing them under the bus(so to speak) (grandma,Rev. white,Ayles,Jones,etc...) So what should parents think?
Now he has published his speech to the kids and it appears to be uplifting and inspiring. Will he have a tele-prompter in the room? Will he allow questions? Will he stay on message? CAN he stay away from Socialist rhetoric?
If not, one little innocuous question, could lead to a 15 to 20 minute speech on the virtues of European education and the pitfalls of American Society as we knew it. I don't believe this would be what the parents bargained for, but it would be too late, the kids would hear it. He is the president. We have all been taught to respect the position. Now that Obama is below 50 percent in the polls-be on the lookout for a whole new healthcare plan. I suspect it will sound more benign thatn the current "crop" of healthcare bills(5 that I've heard about).
My firm belief is that no matter what his "New Plan" sounds like, it will be a lie. It will be a back-door way for more control over our lives. It will be a stealth move to get into your pocket,ruin business (even more) and make sure Washington tells you what to eat,when to eat it and where to eat it.
Remember, if they pay for your healthcare,with your money, they can tell you how to live,how you eat,and what you breathe. I posted a poll on facebook-"Do you want them to compromise on the healthcare bill?" Last I looked it was 100 percent" NO".
Granted, not that many have participated yet, but at least those that have , have the common sense to understand that for years we have been lied to, had our hard earned wages confiscated, and our freedom curtailed; one little addition to a bill at a time.
I don't believe that the Congress understands that by rewriting the budget with all of the political paybacks,not doing what was promised with the emergency TARP funds,and all of the antics that go on in "Committee", they(Congress) have ruined any semblance of trust that remained.
Fewer people that I talk to believe that the upcoming elections are going to be fair and honest. Alot of people I speak with are only going to fill out the Constitutionally mandated questions on the census( Do you own the home, how many people reside here) Especially since Obama has (by fiat) turned over the census to Acorn and its subsidiaries. Black Panthers shown on film intimidating voters during the last election have not, nor will they ever, be prosecuted for this felony.
There are too many ways to cheat. The Dems know it but like it that way (it seems).
PLEASE, don't let them get away with new packaging! No matter how it is packaged-you won't know what is inside until you have it!

We have the IRS using Facebook and blogs to track down delinquent tax payers (no mention of Wrangle or Geitner).
There have already been tax increases on the middle and lower class-there are more than likely more to come in a bigger and better way!

MC CAIN'S TOWN HALL

I (Blessedly) only caught a few minutes of John McCain's town Hall meeting in Arizona at Sun City.
The few minutes I did watch Sen. McCain sounded more like he was campaigning than answering the audience's questions.
The most poignant,and disturbing question came from a younger women who began with the statement"I am,for the first time, afraid for my freedom". Her question contained queries on why and how are the Legislators subverting the constitution and messing with our lives; His answer amounted to- We can Not. ( all paraphrased).
How can one believe "We can not" coming from the mouth of the same imbecile that gave us McCain-Feingold?
That particular bill that blatantly violates free speech, was widely thought to be struck down by a wise Supreme Court....Didn't happen...We now have a majority in the SUPREME COURT THAT BELIEVE THAT OUR CONSTITUTION IS OLD AND TIRED AND WE NEED TO LOOK AT THE REST OF THE WORLD FOR GUIDANCE(THE SAME THING WE FOUGHT AGAINST DURING THE REVOLUTION) .
These entrenched souls are in CAMPAIGN MODE. Don't be fooled. The young,the old the in-betweens are truly sensing that they are being SCREWED and the sad part is, the YAHOOS in Washington "DON"T GET IT" to say nothing of the biggest YAHOO of them all who,at this time, is on Martha's Vineyard!

CURIOUS ........

I Noticed (and read) an article in this mornings paper that bore the AP headline "Beck loses Advertisers". It was an AP story so I suppose that the same headline graced the pages of other publications as well. The story tells us that large corporations are withdrawing advertising from controversial talk radio and TV, ie:Beck,AND OTHERS, for calling Obama a racist.
The paper states that a black group has started the effort to get advertisers to remove their ads, there is no mention whether this "Black" group is associated with ACORN in any way.....I just wonder........
During the campaign it was widely believed that because Obama was black, all the racial tensions would disappear, and because he was such a GREAT UNITER, all conversations would miraculously turn civil and kindly.
What was NOT advertised nor stated was the keen interest in causing chaos and disruption that this administration needs to enact his agenda. Remember Holder's statement (I paraphrase) "It would be a shame to waste a crisis". If there is no emergency-create one. If there is no crisis-create one. If you are down in the polls,cheat!
It appears Obama's biggest "boosters" are ACORN and SOROS-Watch the "fine print"-it has already started..."THE PAYBACKS FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT" Well done!
I suspect that these groups that are trying to squelch free speech with threats of boycotts and bad publicity are tied to ACORN,SOROS or one of their subsidiaries.....It appears they will resort to blackmail to quiet the opposition...HOW SAD IS THAT!

I WANT TO BE PRESIDENT-JUST 100 DAYS

DON'T PANIC-I only want to be President Cripster for 100 days. I am tired of hearing all the piss-moaning and groaning and no solutions. So in my first (and last)100 days I WILL:

--repeal all executive orders that are currently in place
--demand a copy of the existing tax code (in its entirety), call a press conference at dinner time,light the code on fire,cook hot dogs and BEEF burgers for one and all until the fire to goes out.Insist the existing code be completely eliminated.
--eliminate the IRS
--fire anyone in the White House who has not been elected or properly confirmed by the Senate
--eliminate the following cabinets entirely:education/epa/agriculture/art...OH HELL...I WILL ELIMINATE THEM ALL AND START FROM SCRATCH!
--politely ask the UN to move to a third World Country - if they don't comply-order the Marines to help them move to a third world country (or any country stupid enough to allow them on their soil). Put the property on E-bay and let someone convert it to apartments,business etc......
--demand that the HOUSE and the Senate do their jobs with no outside lobbyists to wine and dine and bribe and cajole them
--start the conversation on repealing the 16th amendment
--finish the conversation on a commerce tax with NO EXEMPTIONS-push for a 1% tax on all money that exchanges hands-eliminating all other taxes and fees and encourage states to do the same(eliminate property,tangible,inheritance,income etc...taxes)
--order the state department,pentagon,cia fbi and all other entities that have become enclaves of "Lifers",fire everyone.
--fight to eliminate the FED UNION and Union influence over Congress and the President.
--Reinstate all leases to oil,coal,uranium companies on US property and the Gulf of Mexico,Atlantic and Pacific Oceans(better yet, sell the property to these companies and use proceeds to repay debt).
--push Congress to repeal all subsidies( they are unconstitutional).
--demand a simple tort reform,"you lose,you pay" to include ALL court costs first,reward next,lawyers last

If you video tape the slaughter of a cow that farted, mail it in to the "Gas Czar", Al gore, or the "Energy Czar".Do you get the equivalent amount of money to replace the cow with one that doesn't fart? (just asking)
Look for this legislation to benefit the Government tax coffers, Al Gore and his Carbon Trade investments and companies, and General Electric (who has already got the franchise on the lethal lightbulbs). Oh you can through in Boone Pickens (The Don Quixote of energy),George SORROS,SIERRA CLUB ETAL......
Also look for one bill to be presented to the people and another bill to be presented to Obama for signature.

As I opined before, I believe is is all about a lack of trust and I am more and more convinced that it is a fear of GOVERNMJENT-RUN ANYTHING.
SO far the number of LIES are pretty even with the number of HALF-TRUTHS. Unfortunately, the amount of OBFUSCATION out-weighs them both. I believe both Beck and Limbaugh are 100% correct when they (I paraphrase) say 'While the right hand distracts, the left hand is creating havoc".
For me, the Tea Parties, are venues to vent anger. We are primarily a Christian Nation and we are ALL raised to respect the truth and tend to be very leery of those who would lie to us. Remember when a trusted friend was caught in a lie? Remember how long(if ever) it took to forgive entirely and trust again? More often than not, after the lie, that person raises a bit of a "red flag" no matter how hard they try to convince otherwise.
This Administration has lied (more than once).....I find not only the "red Flag" thing going on, but those little hairs on the back of my neck-that natural "warning system" -going off any time he or one of his minions speak.
Remember last week? The "Cash for Clunker" program was a huge success? Funny, this morning while watching Fox and Friends, I find out from a car dealer that only a small percentage of cash has actually been spent. This administration has left dealers high and dry! The dealers don't know when they are getting paid and the applications are long and complicated and (AFTER THE DEAL HAS BEEN MADE) the car turned in -is turned down-no 4500.00 dollars-the Dealer is in the hole. Once it had passed and abortions were funded, it was taken to court where the "Supremes" said it is a "medical procedure, therefore it has to be covered until/or unless Congress places specific wording in a bill that denies coverage.
It has been reported that there have been 8 or 9 bills introduced to deny Federal money for abortions, these have been turned down and or never let out of committee.
SARAH PALIN HAS IT RIGHT! The so called "independent board" to be required and funded by this bill(by the appointed(not elected) by the President) will determine what is treated and how it is treated. Now you tell me what the ultimate outcome will be if one is trying save money on paper, but make sure your butt is covered.
The previously passed and signed stimulus bill, the previously passed budget were both passed without the members reading it. They were "surprised" when they found out what we, the tax payers" are funding.I have no idea why we pay them so much, they don't write the bills,they don't read the bills-What else is there? If there has been no tax increase-I want to know where all my money went this month? I admit, I smoke and I have bought cigarettes. I drink and I have bought scotch. I live in a modest home and I am sure (according to the local paper) that I have an increase in my property tax. Oh, alright, I am splitting hairs,Obama isn't raising my taxes. If the fool read the constitution, he hasn't got the authority to raise taxes-only Congress does.

In missouri it is reported that the town hall was stacked with thugs and the local residents were locked out, Thugs attacked an elderly gent trying to sell "Don't tread on me Flags". Tampa Florida had a group that was disruptive...
It is time to test your mettle and start attending any meeting that your Congressman calls.Do not be intimidated! Document with a camera phone,tape recorder or whatever method you have available , then forward said evidence to your local paper, Rush Lindbaugh and Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity etc.
We are being lied to and intimidated into following a course we do not want to take. I do not advocate fighting fire with fire, but I DO advocate getting incontrovertible proof out to show those who don't believe it can happen in America, exactly what is going on.
The only truth left out there is on the radio and one cable news channel-FOX, the rest of the media appears to be laying cover for
a corrupt "thugocracy". One can also discount the printed media, they too have become lap dogs.

I am watching Fox News as I type. Sheppard Smith just introduced our(Fla Sen) very own Mel Martinez as a conservative senator.
With all due respect-HE(Smith) IS WRONG....;. Martinez is just another "RINO" . This man has just said in so many words, that because Obama is president he must vote for Obama's nominee. I believe the quote was"elections have consequences".
Easy for him to say, he is not running for re-election. In the past he has voted in favor of illegal aliens, amnesty, and all other laws that benefit those who would cheat, rather than those that don't. He(I am assuming) is not running again because he knows we wouldn't vote for him.
The rest of those that have abdicated their responsibilities as Senators, must be thrown out too. Not just because of this vote, but all the others in the recent past. They are the same people that will acquiesce in the Health Care vote, the Cap and Trade and any other takeover of our freedom that comes across the Senate floor. they don't give a sweet and we must vote them out.
I know I am tired of being called a stupid hired ruffian, possible terrorist and mobster-I TRULY CARE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY AND FEAR FOR OUR FREEDOM,LIBERTY, and ECONOMIC FUTURE.

HEALTH CARE IN A NUTSHELL

I am up to sec 155 of the health bill. Personally, I have not had to read crap like this since high-school (and there were at least classic comics to assist). It is no wonder the congress and senate have not read this bill as proposed. I feel bad for the staff who must read it.
So far all I have gleaned from this "mess of words" are the following:
1. Everyone must have healthcare, private or Government.
2. The healthcare that PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS choose,must be deemed suitable by the government-OR ELSE
3. So far (up to sec 155) there are two new bureaucracies and three others with elevated status(no where,(so far) has it been mandated that these bureaucrats must be on the same plan as mandated to us peons.
4. If I have interpreted the
properly, the rules can change on a daily basis-sort of a "reg De Jour" depending on what and who is to benefit at the time.
5. If you have a medical problem and regardless of your insurance plan, you are to be cured by committee.
6. This committee is not on salary,but will have travel expenses. I am assuming that they will be able to tele-commute to Washington from say, RIO?
7. As the cost of insurance and medical care increase(a normal thing) reimbursements to doctors and hospitals will not increase, your co-pays will increase.
8. All initial plans and subsequent rules and regulations must be in plain language (so even a congressman can understand) and must be disclosed prior to implementation; just like the bills that have been coming to floor for votes in the house and senate-right?
9. If one part of the bill is ruled unconstitutional, the rest of this monstrosity is unaffected and must be dealt with separately.I assume this means that this entire bill must be broken down to be rid of it if passed. This appears to be either payback for the lawyers support or the democrats idea of "new job" growth. Long live the largess of attorneys!

I have great faith that the American people will let these yahoos know exactly what they think of this (and other government grabs for power) ,however, I have no faith that Congressmen and Senators will listen and act for the good of this country. They have invested a lot in grabbing power and keeping it-It appears they aren't going to give it up now that they have a president that is just as power-hungry as they are.
We must remain vigilant at the ballot box-and all political activities leading up to the elections in order to keep tabs on election law violations-I suspect cheating will become even more prevalent), with recounts (until the number is right) intimidation at the polls(which is ignored by this administration) and above all watch for the results of the census(as collected and interpreted by ACORN and its affiliates .

Not to change the subject, but where are the objections to all the additional heavy metals and toxins that are now being added to the landfills? Cash for Clunkers is a HUGE SUCCESS right? A good portion of the vehicles crushed and deposited were perfectly running vehicles,traded in for government subsidized ecologically kind ,vehicles.They (the running,functioning vehicles) are then given a huge dose of polluting chemicals to permanently disable said vehicle, then it is crushed and (I guess) deposited in a landfill. No mention of salvaging parts,recycling etc...I guess the government has already driven those folks that could see to that portion of this debacle-out of business....How helpful is that towards saving the planet??????

Well, well. After last night's 'pressure conference", nothing has changed. Obama is still coming out in front of cameras,he still has his TelePrompTer on a frequent flyer list and we are forced to watch DVDs to avoid the same old lies......Oh Happy Days!(sigh).
Don't let him wear you down. We are getting a bit ahead. Today it was announced by Reid and Pelosi that they will not bring up votes until after their,(frequent and long) holiday. This is not time to stop the harassment. They need to know that this whole Government takeover of our way of life, our economy, and our very well being has to cease!

My husband is a paraplegic. 4 years ago, he became gravely ill as a result of a pressure sore. He was hospitalized numerous times,and each immediate cure caused something else to run amok.This can happen, I understand, I get it, but after being bedridden for a year and a half, having his upper torso paralyzed by the side effects of an antibiotic, and more, He lost his ability to bend forward,which screwed up his ability to sit in his manual chair and remain upright.
After proving this to his doctor and the physical therapist, a request was made to medicare(Govn't run healthcare) and Humana (govn't regulated healthcare) for a power wheelchair.
I repeat, Bob is a paraplegic, has been for 28 years. After several weeks, we received a letter stating he was no longer eligible for a wheelchair. Hey, my first thought was "OK, Bob can now walk, but likes being waited on, sleeping in, and getting screwed out of going places because they are inaccessible."
My second thought was " This is a pencil-necked geek, that doesn't know diddly-squat about spinal chord injuries or any other medical condition telling Bob that he is well enough to walk".
After two appeals, numerous phone calls, and five months later, Bob got a used power chair.
There is more,but this is a tiny fraction of the grief that Government can cause and once the government subsidizes (in any way) anything, they basically own it,regulate it and screw it up!
Always keep in the back of your mind also, YOU CAN'T SUE THE GOVERNMENT-THE LAW SAYS SO.........THE CONSTITUTION SAYS SO............

Well, I watched some of the hearings. I am now convinced that Judge Sotomayor is well rehearse and can memorize lines.
We are supposed to ignore a career lifetime worth of judgments and speeches and now believe she is a strict Constructionist.
I DON'T THINK SO.
My personal feeling, watching her remarks ,her hesitation in answering the rare questions that weren't "Gushing" over her,is the the term "Trojan Horse" is very applicable.
FRANKLY, I THINKS SHE IS LYING! Once confirmed, there is little recourse. She will continue with her social engineering,and we have no way to get her out!

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

Here we are. Stuck in a worm hole that is taking us to an alternate universe!
Now that the Dems are in full control and have held the reins for less than one year, we have gone from an economy that might well have weathered this cyclical downturn to a country that is no enslaved to China,unions, "Select" big business and the ever-increasing cadre of czars in Washington. There is talk of a "New World" order, money, and laws.
Although polls indicate that there is unrest brewing, Obama still remains popular, even though it is his "heavy hand" that has pushed these anti-Constitutional policies forward. His nomination of Sotomayor shows his disdain for the Constitution.
I will admit, if yesterdays opening statements to Congress were truthful and not just cleverly rehearsed, she may be just another Souter. However, if her statements were of the cleverly rehearsed kind(with this bunch, I suspect they were) then she is as big a prevaricator as Obama.
Unfortunately, the republicans have no stomach for a fight for the constitution, nor do they have the tenacity to correct the false presumption of racial and sexual bias. They(republicans) will continue to listen to the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the democrats and be more concerned with their reelection prospects and donation prospects than the integrity of the Supreme Court.
Sadly this nomination to the Supreme Court is not the only assault on our Constitution.. The monetary policies, national security policies, ILLEGAL immigration policies; the cronyism,extortion,pay-backs,etal
have possibly corrupted Washington DC permanently. The establishment of more Czars and committees means less power to Congress. The Senate as a deliberative Body, has become a high-school girls bathroom conversation, the press has become more than lap-dogs for Obama, they have become an emasculated bunch of groveling apologists for the entire administration. It is hardly worth reading the paper any more.
We are not sliding down a slippery slope, we have jumped head-long into the abyss. 2010 may be too late to undo the damage and I fear that the lessons will never be learned and the electorate will blindly vote for the biggest lie-yet again.
How Sad....What should be a constant celebration of Life Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness has become, protect my own,hide my wealth,and the pursiut of a place to "drop-out". It is a sad comentary on this administration.

Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this
heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia. You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members - on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that’s $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million - not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I believe this is why the military prosecute there own. The military has different rules, a different code.
Military prisoners, captives( in time of war) and Military personnel that violate that code should be tried and judged by their peers. It seems there is a plan afoot to use the "World Court" instead....The Military Code of Justice, not the federal courts should be the ONLY ones dealing with P.O.W.'s -As far as I can tell, the Yahoos captured in Iraq or operating in the US on the Taliban's behalf are under that very jurisdiction...not our Constitution. The line is being blurred and the practice MUST cease!

But this common sense allowance(for these times) has now been stopped. This administration would rather the terrorists go free, but you and I aren't so lucky.....

-to keep and bear arms: This is not referring to an anatomical part of our bodies- "ARMS" refers to guns,rifles, etc..
-Shall not be infringed: Infringed is NOT the addition of "Fills" this means- act so as to limit or undermine something

So let us put this altogether in real everyday language.Language that even Obama can understand.
A Law-abiding group or groups of people, being necessary to protect his or her family from a tyrannical Government,a creep that breaks into his/her home,etc...have a right to own and use a gun when threatened, or for personal survival and this bunch of YAHOOS in Washington can not(by our Constitution) take them(guns) away.

I believe that the Congress knows this, so that will attempt to TAX guns away. It has already been shown that the have no aversion to hypocrisy, not violating the Constitution any chance they get. The hypocrisy is displayed when they say they are taxing to raise revenue on, say cigarettes .They need the revenue to pay for government programs in one advertisement, in the other advertisement they tell you to quit smoking-it will kill you so we are going to tax it to create a false incentive to quit.
The non-smokers will say YEAH! tax 'em to make them quit-It won't affect me. The smokers (having be subjected to this type of confiscation for years) will tell you-NEXT, THEY COME FOR YOU.....
The discussions on the left include taxing ammo 500%, tax firearms,more insulting regulations, all the time charging you(the tax payer)for security 24-7.

The Democrats and Obama had the chance to reverse or halt the mistakes of the Bush Administration as of January 20,2009. The Democrats had the chance to eliminate the" Climate of Corruption" and over-spending 2 years prior to that.The President and the Democrats have not only neglected this obligation, they have exacerbated the situation by quadrupling EVERYTHING.
After the constant drumbeat of negativity surrounding the Republicans in 2006 and the promises made to change, the American people allowed them the chance.
We (again and again) have been DUPED. Their promises of fiscal reform and constraint, have turned into a spending spree to rival Imelda Marcos in a shoe-store and the corruption charges that appear to be changed have only been hidden or discharged with no punishment or publicity.
The election of Obama has brought Chicago Politics to Washington and is celebrated by every socialist group in the country. It appears that the elections were rigged by ACORN -INVESTIGATION DROPPED .Intimidation at the polls by the Black Panthers-CHARGES DROPPED,Frozen funds in William 1efferson's freezer-NOTHING ..HE IS STILL IN WASHINGTON. The circles of corruption are growing . The Congress (both houses) must be totally naive or just plain stupid, not to realize that every CZAR appointed by the president has usurped their Constitutional powers.

Although I am not in your district, I will actively, through my blog and any other means work to UN-ELECT anyone who votes for nationalized health care, cap and trade or any other means to enslave, tax, and remove our freedoms.
I would be my life's wages that you nor any one else has even read the document in its entirety. Just as the budget was written and passed without our representation.
YOU ALL UNDERESTIMATE THE ANGER THAT BUBBLING TO THE SURFACE. The tea-parties were not a social gathering, they were real. You all have done your best to ignore real science,ignore the Constitution and violate our trust at every turn.

My wonderful neighbor sent this reply to Obama: I wanted to show you all out there, that we are not alone.
here is an undercurrent of anger and a deepening despair arising. I know I feel it,my friends are feeling it and those that deny it, appear to protest to much.
It is to late to stop it, but it can be slowed and possibly arrested in November of 2010. It is often forgotten that it is CONGRESS that passes spending bills, enacts tax law and any other law -the President only suggests,coerces and signs.
"KICK THE BUMS OUT" may well be more than a bumper sticker.

I couldn't agree with you more... It is time to "roll up our sleeves" and get this country going in the right direction. Unfortunately, it is VERY OBVIOUS that you have no clue as to which direction it should go! I have a great deal of respect for the office of the Presidency, but you have dishonored that office by apologizing to countries that we owe no apologies to, by deciding to spend every dime that this country can borrow to "stimulate" the economy, by taking everything that the founding fathers set up in the Constitution to protect us from large government and proceeding to bypass all of the safeguards set up in the Constitution.
Your insistence on catering to the Muslims in the world leaves the rest of the world viewing us as weak and impotent. You seem to have no idea as to what kind of mess you and your followers are creating for our children and grandchildren. And it is painfully obvious that you don't care. I could go on and on about how someone with your type of ideas should never have run for the office of president to begin with because you are in opposition to so many things that this country has stood for. If FDR had your kind of mentality, he would have allowed Hitler to conquer the entire Earth.

I find it sad the only only states that appear to be interested in stopping "CAP AND TRADE ". Why haven't the oil-producing states, the coal to gas states, natural gas states etc... had the BRASS to join these Representatives.
I get it(sort of) The Coal-producing states have been abased,chastised and threatened by this administration. There were statements made through the campaign to shut down coal operations, they have to fight fort he livelihoods of there respective constituents . I admire their tenacity.
What I would like to know is where is the likes of Republican Rep. Biliraks from Florida? Where are any other Rep.s from Florida? For that matter, where are the reps from ANY oil producing state? Why aren't they standing with the coal-producers?
Could it be that the oil companies are going to benefit from this Cap and "degrade" Legislation?
This administration has proven that it will select the "Winners and Losers" as he sees fit. Lord knows what has transpired behind closed doors. IT IS SICKENING........WE ARE LOSING OUR COUNTRY TO THE UNIONS AND TO A BUNCH OF MARXISTS !
If Florida can be a microcosm of the country, let us use her as a small example of "political selection" . Our(Florida) Legislators (stupidly )passed an enormous tax on tobacco products to ostensibly raise revenue for this poorly functioning state.
In today's paper 500 jobs were lost overnight when they closed the historic cigar factory in Ybor City. Lets see how it works out-
selling cigarettes and cigars raised revenue for years when they were affordable. Government(both state and Federal) got greedy so the studies were done and the warnings issued. The Government decided it was bad for you and someone decided they didn't like the smell. So the argument was framed (first) that if we tax them, we can use the money to offset health care costs. Well, that didn't work. As the price increased folks started to quit and revenues went for anything but health care.
as buyers stopped buying, revenues dropped further so those that will control your life,added more taxes-told you how many more dollars this would bring in(lying through their teeth),the price went further beyond reason anyway.
Now we have 500 documented cases of NEW FOUND JOBLESS-just in time to receive the Governments largess in the form of MANDATED unemployment benefits and as the economy worsens, will become eligible for welfare(more government largess) just in time for elections.......This allows the uneducated,uninformed,nosier-than-thou idiots to continue to elect these bums so they,the fools, don't lose their "FREE MONEY".
Follow threw logically. Think about EVERY STUDY that you have heard or read about. If the President, any legislator,any Newspaper touts the study as " the Study to end all Studies"..Look out. Something related will become a dire situation, THEN CRITICAL, THEN FINALLY A CRISIS. It is at the crisis stage when the yentas of Congress and State Legislators(with the help of the President and Governors) will announce that because there is a revenue shortfall and this or that(fill in what you find most enjoyable) is not healthy for you and makes you a burden on health care, you must be forced to stop, therefore we are placing a huge tax on it. This will kill two birds with one stone-it will save our country and help YOU do what is right(in our minds) all at the same time-happy days. write the bill in lengthy legalese then publish a large enough document that no one will have the time or inclination to read, pick out the good words in the document, stretch them out to create a good impression ,vote,pass,
send to Obama to sign,then leak out how rotten a bill it is -make a public statement"sorry to late-it passed-you're screwed-ha ha!(DITTO FOR THE STATES)
